Porsche 991.1 / 991.2 Carrera - Öhlins Road & Track Coilovers
Description
A more than 30 year long tradition of high-end racing commitments and state-of-the-art solutions within advanced suspension technology is now available for street cars all over the world. The focus has been clear from the very beginning – superior road handling without sacrificing comfort in your day-to-day transports. The time of compromises is over. Öhlins have also added a clever light-weight design with a majority of the parts in aluminium and on top of that all shocks have suffered through vast corrosion tests according to ISO 9227.
The end result is a 2-year limited warranty on all of our products – worldwide. Öhlins Road & Track team has extensively tested a wide variation of springs to find the right balance between road and track use. By testing in different conditions on road as well on track, the listed spring rate is what is strongly recommended you use.
The car will be easier to balance on the edge of what the tires can handle before losing grip. You will be much quicker on track. The DFV suspension prevents you from losing the racing line when hitting bumps or curbs. The DFV components within react quickly and keeps you in control of the car and in contact with the track. When driving to and from the track, just set the dampers in road mode for a more relaxed and comfortable drive, still with more grip and quicker response time than ever before.
BENEFITS:
DFV (Dual Flow Valve)
McPherson strut
Single bleed adjuster
Corrosion salt spray tested (ISO 9227)
2 year Limited Warranty
Incorporates original top mounts
Lowers vehicle center of gravity reduces body roll for better handling.
A lower wind resistance signature will make the vehicle more streamlined and improve gas mileage.
LOWERING:
With both the preload and height adjustments in their standard positions, the vehicle is lowered approximately 10-20 mm when compared to the original suspension.
SPRING RATES: 70N/mm front – 140N/mm rear (Custom spring rates available by request)
The Öhlins EDC Cancellation Kit for Road & Track deactivates dash lights and error codes when electronically adjustable OEM suspension is replaced by a mechanical system. The cancellation kit is plugged into the original suspension controls. No further programming is needed.
Öhlins Racing has been an integrated part of the motorsport industry as well as the motorcycle and automotive industry for 40 years. Their passion for innovations and state-of-the-art technology motivates them to search for the next generation of advanced suspension technology.
Their dedicated and professional staff cooperates with some of the most prestigious manufacturers and teams in the world to find the optimal suspension performance. This knowledge finds its way to the aftermarket and OEM shock absorbers, front forks and steering dampers on the street. To be at the forefront of advanced suspension technology makes Öhlins work even harder to find the next chapter of suspension technology.
With Öhlins Road & Track coil overs you will experience a car with blistering response times, improved bump absorption and a massive amount of grip to increase the safety when driving your car at the limit.
+ Fits all Porsche 991.1 and 991.2 Carrera vehicles (2012-2019) – Vehicles with PDCC will need additional brackets
