SEAT LEON CUPRA TUNING

The SEAT Leon Cupra once held the lap record at the Nurburgring for the fastest FWD car around the ring so it is an extremely capable motor from the factory. The Cupra shares the same EA888 engine as MK7R & 8V S3 so we know how to extract the very best for fast road and track use.

PE Stage 1 Tune

Typical results 370bhp & 500nm

Our PE custom ECU software has been extensively developed with many hours of testing on our dyno, road and track days to make sure our calibration performs 100% in all environments.

Every vehicle has a full diagnostic and health check carried out prior to tuning as well as full engine data logging to fine to the ECU.

PE Stage 1 ECU tune requires zero hardware changes but recommended running 99RON for best results and fuel efficiency.

Before and after dyno printout provided upon completion.

PE Stage 1+ Tune

Typical results 385bhp & 520nm

PE Stage 1+ ECU Tune give that extra responds, performance and sound over a Stage 1 tune. An upgraded intake system and exhaust with a decat/sport is require for this stage.

Overall driveabilty is greatly improved due to the engines improved ability to consume a greater volume of air, coupled with the more free flowing exhaust gases allows for that increase of performance.

We have tested multiple intake and exhaust setups on and off our dyno and recommend the Forge turbo pipe mated to a Racingline R600 intake with a Milltek Turbo back exhaust.

PE Stage 2 Tune

Typical results 400bhp & 530nm

PE Stage 2 ECU tune is where the maximum performance and efficiency is to be extracted from the OEM turbo.

Stage 2 requires Stage 1 hardware combined with an upgraded intercooler, this helps reduce engines intake temperatures by 20 degrees.

With some further fine tuning to the ECU calibration the 2.0T EA888 engine can produce some very impressive figure.

The stock manual clutch on the latest MQB 2.0T vehicles are very weak, some having issues at stock power.

We tune the manual variants slightly different to try and be more clutch friendly and Stage 1 tunes are at the limit for a healthy clutch. If you are looking to extract more performance from your Cupra then this will be required.

We offer a service to supply and fit an upgraded clutch with fresh gearbox fluid and slave. Sachs clutches come in two torque levels, Organic at 550nm or Sintered at 745nm.
